Known Issues in DataOps.live Create
The data product creator offers smooth integration with various Snowflake database objects, simplifying your data product creation process. However, here are a few things to keep in mind while selecting the database objects to use as a data source in the data product creator:
Stick to one database
For optimal performance and reliability, you can select tables from a single Snowflake database rather than multiple ones. This ensures consistency and simplifies the management of feature branches, as we create safe environments through zero-copy clones on databases.
Limited support for Data Shares and views
Currently, Data Shares and views cannot be used as data sources. These limitations are due to constraints in Snowflake and Snowflake Object Lifecycle Engine (SOLE) configurations.
No SSO support with Snowflake
Currently, Single Sign-On (SSO) with Snowflake is not supported. We're working on integrating this feature to further enhance your security and user experience.
