Artificial Intelligence Usage Policy

DataOps.live Ltd and its subsidiaries and affiliates, including DataOps Software Limited, (“DataOps”, “we” or “us”) are committed to providing customers with innovative and efficient services. As part of our service offerings, we may leverage Artificial Intelligence (“AI”) technologies, including those provided by third parties, to enhance the efficiency, accuracy, and overall performance of the services we deliver.

The purpose of this AI policy (“Policy”) is to (1) outline DataOps’ position regarding the use of AI, including models provided by third parties, (2) protect the interests of DataOps and its employees, and (3) provide clarity to customers over how AI may be used to provide services. This includes our use of AI to track, trace, and surface metadata that may be required by us to provide services to you (“Metadata”). For the avoidance of doubt, DataOps explicitly excludes processing of any transactional data under this Policy.

Customers who wish to opt out of the use of AI to process Metadata should contact DataOps at support@dataops.live

Ethical Guidelines

DataOps is committed to ensuring that the AI technologies used in our services adhere to ethical guidelines and respect human-centric values, including fairness, accountability, transparency, and non-discrimination. We will continue to assess and improve the ethical use of AI within our services, ensuring that it aligns with best practices and industry standards.

DataOps is transparent with customers about how and when we use AI in our service offerings, including by providing this Policy to customers on request. DataOps does not use AI to make automated decisions that produce a significant or legal impact on individuals.

Use of Third-Party AI Models

DataOps only develops and uses AI systems that are robust, secure, and safe. When offering our services to customers, we may rely on third-party AI models, including AI services developed by recognized providers, such as OpenAI or Anthropic. We utilize these third-party AI models to enhance the overall functionality of our services. We may replace AI models or engage new third-party providers at any time to support the provision of our services.

When we use third-party AI models in our service offerings, the third-party providers may process Metadata. These third-party AI providers may use such Metadata for purposes including the training of their models. As noted above, DataOps does not utilize transactional data of customers when relying on these AI tools. Further, DataOps will under no circumstances send personal data as defined by GDPR and CCPA to third-party AI models.

Privacy and Security

DataOps implements appropriate safeguards to protect Metadata against unauthorized disclosure and access when leveraging AI technologies.

Recording and Tracking Usage of AI

To maintain transparency and explainability, DataOps will keep a clear record of:

  • All AI tools used;
  • The relevant input into the AI tools;
  • The output that is received and/or generated;
  • The purpose for which that output or generated content is used.

Customers may request confirmation of this information at any time.

Training

DataOps will ensure that all employees and contractors receive training about the use of AI and this Policy. This training must be completed on at least an annual basis. DataOps will maintain records to demonstrate that training has been completed.

Changes to this Policy

We are continually developing our services, including by changing the AI models and technologies we use. We may update this Policy to reflect our new and evolving use of AI technologies, third-party services, or changes in our operational practices. We encourage you to enquire about any updates to our Policy, which may not otherwise be communicated directly to you.

If you have any questions or concerns about the use of AI in our services, or if you would like to inquire about specific data handling practices, please contact us at DataOps Software Limited at 32-34 Arlington Rd, London NW1 7HU or email: support@dataops.live.
